The teachers at AGSD work to build self-confidence and give students the solid background they need to become fearless dancers and individuals.

AGSD’s Ensemble is a dynamic performance group of dancers that combines the style of Jazz, grace of Ballet, creativity of Modern/Lyrical, rhythm of Tap and attitude of Hip Hop dance. Dancers in Ensemble classes learn not only the technique of advanced movement, but also the interpretation of music to bring forth emotion and soul from each dancer. They also have the opportunity to perform at numerous local community events and fundraisers as well as compete at regional and national talent competitions. Each dancer is required to take three classes per week and groups are categorized by age and level. Auditions normally take place during July.
