When I was looking for a dance studio I knew I wanted one at which the instructors were not only trained as dancers, but were also educated in dance. My daughter started at the studio when it was still Sierra Dance Academy and owned by Jean Fulton. Not long after we started there Ms Flores started teaching her ballet class. I was impressed with her enthusiasm, her obvious love of dance, and her ability to impart that joy to her students.
Her advanced education in dance ensures that my daughter learns each new skill correctly, and that everything she learns is based on a solid base of knowledge and training. Ensemble teaches her responsibility and how to work with and get along with others in a group, and learning choreography has helped her with remembering and retaining things she learns in school. In the 5 years my daughter has been dancing under the instruction of Ms Felicia, Mr Rommel, and Ms Norine, I have watched her blossom into a self confident and out-going young lady, which I attribute in a large part to her dance education at Anti-Gravity School of Dance.
